Wyoming Valley Children’s Association (WVCA) has again renewed its Platinum Seal of Transparency on Candid (Guidestar). Candid is an online database that features the most up-to-date information on millions of nonprofit organizations. They have developed a “Seals of Transparency” program to evaluate nonprofit organizations based on financial information, governance, goals, programming, and other key metrics. The rankings start at the Bronze level and rise to the highest ranking of Platinum. WVCA is proud to report we have been renewed again for 2022 at the Platinum Seal level.
These “Transparency Seals” give the current and future donors insights into an organization, enabling educated decisions and instilling confidence. Wyoming Valley Children’s Association is committed to transparency, ethical fundraising, strategic decision-making, and (most importantly) to our mission. The Platinum Seal is yet another indication that community members should feel confident in our organization’s ability to reach its goals.
