The evening begins with aperitivo italiano—happy hour Italian style. Aperitivo in Italy is plain and simply aperitivo: A pre-dinner drink, meant to “open” the palate and it gives you a chance to socialize, relax, and nibble as dinner approaches.
After enjoying the unique Italian ritual of aperitivo, join the chefs of Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs for an impressive stationed dinner in the Season’s Ballroom where authentic regional Italian food featuring fresh ingredients and masterful preparation will be served and paired with exceptional Italian wine.
Vin Italia guests will enjoy the Mike Stevens Jazz Trio and the fabulous vocal stylings of Mr. Mark Mack and The Mark Mack Orchestra. Mack is best known for his magical Frank Sinatra musical orchestrations, vocal style, professional appearance and charming charisma reminiscent of ‘Ol Blue Eyes live performances.
